Ministry of External Affairs Housing
A housing society for MEA officials envisioned as an Art Deco landmark — breaking free from monotony to create residences of rhythm, character, and timeless elegance.
PROJECT DETAILS
PROJECT OVERVIEW
MEA Housing is a residential society for officials of India's Ministry of External Affairs, conceived as a modern reinterpretation of Art Deco — not only as an aesthetic, but as a design ethos. The architecture employs bold geometries, dynamic façades, and stone finishes that create rhythm without falling into the monotony of repetitive balcony patterns typical of mass housing. Interiors extend this language of refinement, with lobbies finished in bespoke Italian marble, gold-toned metal accents, and sophisticated lighting.
